For those who don't know Songkran, follow this link on Wikipedia, but it is FUN, BIG and WET. Or, at least big and wet, for older people it is not always fun.
I bought myself a nice "Songkran-resistant" bag on the first floor of Big C in the sports shop...
A little bit expensive maybe, but I used it for the right activities too (Kayak).
With this one, you can go swimming in the streets of Pattaya, while your wallet and digital camera are safe...:-)
However, the best way to get through Songkran is to wear almost nothing:
It's like being pushed into the swimming pool...:-)
